Road Warrior Radio w/ Chris Hinkley episodes

  • The National Intel Report with John Stadtmiller, February 27, 2019, Hour 1

Guest Host: Chris Hinkley, RBN host of Road Warrior Radio | POLICE STATE & RIGHTS

When law and morality contradict each other, the citizen has the cruel alternative of either losing his moral sense or losing his respect for the law.
    Frédéric Bastiat, The Law (1850)

Americans still believe we live in a free society and revere its core values. These principles are pretty well known: freedom of speech, religion, and the press; the right to a fair trial; representative democracy; equality before the law; and so on. These aren't principles we hold sacred because they're enshrined in the Constitution, or because they were cherished by the Founders. These principles were enshrined in the Constitution and cherished by the Framers precisely because they're indispensable to a free society.
Radley Balko, Rise of the Warrior Cop (2013)

We pick up from the first segment of yesterday's National Intel Report, hour 2 discussing the militarized police state apparatus, and its tie-in to military itself, along with a psychologically deranged culture of Machiavellian intrigue and deception. In essence, the latter is indispensable to the former.

… when the struggle seems to be drifting definitely towards a world social democracy, there may still be very great delays and disappointments before it becomes an efficient and beneficent world system. Countless people … will hate the new world order … and will die protesting against it. When we attempt to evaluate its promise, we have to bear in mind the distress of a generation or so of malcontents, many of them quite gallant and graceful-looking people.

    H. G. Wells, The New World Order (1939)

I frankly think that crisis initiation's really tough, and it's very hard for me to see how the United States president can get us to war with Iran. Which leads me to conclude that if in fact compromise is not coming, that the traditional way America gets to war is what would be best for US interests. Some people might think that Mr. Roosevelt wanted to get us into World War II. As David mentioned, you may recall we had to wait for Pearl Harbor. Some people might think Mr. Wilson wanted to get us into World War I. You may recall he had to wait for the Lusitania episode. Some people might think that Mr. Johnson wanted to send troops to Vietnam. You may recall we had to wait for the Gulf of Tonkin episode. We didn't go to war with Spain until the Maine exploded. And may I point out that Mr. Lincoln did not feel he could call out the federal army until Fort Sumter was attacked. Which is why he ordered the commander at Fort Sumter to do exactly that thing which the South Carolinians had said would cause an attack. So if in fact the Iranians aren't going to compromise, it would be best to somebody else started the war.

Patrick Clawson, Washington Institute director of research and head of the Iran Security Initiative, on How to Build U.S.-Israeli Coordination on Preventing an Iranian Nuclear Breakout (September 21, 2012) [emphasis added]

Today, we begin our discussion tying together Patrick Clawson's infamous 2012 remarks, along with related and corroborating sentiments from Wesley Clark, along with Christopher Bollyn, and James Perloff. One must ask, albeit rhetorically; how many mountains of evidence must pile up - in plain sight, no less - before Americans come to their senses?
