The village has been destroyed, burned buildings and death are the mark of a group Eight has run into before. They recognize the symbol carved into charred buildings, but confess to Rou they haven’t learned the name of the group. As Eight and Rou try to bring peace to those left behind, Eight realizes that they can complete their quest for Professor Trela. When the locket is buried, a rose and a lily spring forth. A moment of peace during a time of sadness.

  • S3 E31: Giant Commendation

Rou hears soft crying nearby and, believing it to be Elaine, begins to call out for her. When he realizes that the crying is synced with the shivering form of Eight, he goes to comfort his friend. Rou ensures that he’ll do his best to help Eight understand these new emotions.

Listening in, they realize the group is arguing about a way to honor Arthas for his deeds. They also learn Arthas has gone on with Archimedes, and hopes to meet up with them later.

  • S3 E28: The Eye of Zorei

Rou, Eight and Tamsin enter a room of white marble, bright light and what appears to be the tops of clouds. Bubbles float, seemingly harmless, throughout the room. In order to assess if the clouds cover a walkway, Eight summons Eight Jr to walk off the ledge where they stand. When Eight Jr disappears they realize they must find another way to the door in the distance.

As each member touches a bubble, whether inadvertently or intentionally, they are forced to relive a difficult moment from their past. They are not forced to experience it alone, however, as the scenes play out for the entire group to witness. Eventually, the trio discovers a hidden walkway to the door and are able to progress to the end of the labyrinth.

  • S3 E27: Skeleton Keys

The group enters a room laden with a veritable feast, violin music playing from a mysterious source and the only door has three keyholes. While Rou and Tamsin waste no time dismantling the room to search for the keys, Eight assists by delicately removing place settings and pouring wine. When they are able to get the door open, they find it once again leads to a dark abyss.

Crossing the threshold, the three companions find themselves in a room filled with a red mist, and each step brings a sound like crunching walnuts. It isn’t long before the mist begins to have an effect on their senses, and a mysterious figure emerges from the shadows. The figure is armed and appears to stand watch over the party, waiting for their next move.

  • S3 E26: Attempt Forty-Eight

The trio heads through the massive stone doors and are teleported down into the labyrinth. Guided by Tamsin’s knowledge from previous attempts, they make quick work of the first portion.

When the group arrives at a room containing only two doors, one which always tells the truth and the other only lies. Rather than despair, the team uses their wits (and some psychic capability), to uncover the correct path forward. The labyrinth's tricks don't stop there though, as the team must then discover the secret of the turn-back hall. Successfully discovering its secrets, they continue to progress forward into a banquet hall with heady aromas and delicious food surrounding them.
