Jon Landis preaches Acts 19:1-7 on Paul helping the 12 disciples of John the Baptist know about the Holy Spirit via baptism into Jesus.  We look closer at Paul's decision to ask the question, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit?" as the gateway towards true life for these twelve men.  What other questions do we see in scripture that give life?  What questions should we be asking to provide life for one another?

Taking a pause from our study in Acts to look at one of the churches planted on Paul's 2nd missionary journey in Thessalonica.  Looking at Chapter 1 in his letter to the church we learn faith, love, and hope driving us to the end with the practical of encouraging each other about the resurrection to come.

The people in Berea were considered more noble than those in Thessalonica.  Due to their everyday examination of the scriptures to see what Paul taught was true, they are held up as a tremendous example when the scriptures are presented.    While often used to describe an initial response, should it ever stop being our heart towards God's message.
