The Whiteout may not offer a cure for the common cold, but it was able to cure an ailing Penn State offense.

Nick and Bill are back to break down what was an emphatic win for the Nittany Lions over Minnesota in a packed Beaver Stadium on Saturday night. The crowd that was in attendance not only witnessed Penn State getting back into the win column but saw James Franklin's team post the most points ever by the good guys in the Whiteout with the 45-17 victory.

The guys talk through the win, what worked so well that allowed the offense and defense to flourish as they did, and how much we should actually be taking away from the blowout win over PJ Fleck's crippled Gophers. The guys also appreciate Sean Clifford for his outstanding performance, the offensive line for getting back on track, Curtis Jacobs for one of his best games played in the blue and white, and a whole lot more.

Former Penn State quarterback Tommy Stevens has had one of the most unique career arcs of any quarterback to come through Happy Valley. From first joining the Nittany Lions partially thanks to an insane recruiting domino effect to carving out a role in the offense despite being the backup quarterback to eventually transferring to causing an arms race between two NFL programs as the draft wound down, Stevens has plenty of stories to tell about his football career to this point.

Tommy was kind enough to sit down with Nick to discuss all of this, the new chapter of his career with the Calgary Stampeders, and much more in today's episode of the podcast. Huge thanks to Tommy for stopping by, sharing some fascinating stories we hadn't heard before, and adding new backstories about things we thought we knew.

But first, they take some time to discuss some of the James Franklin narratives surrounding this game, such as his record against top-5 teams on the road and how his team performs out of the bye week.
