There is an amazing book by Jon Kabat-Zinn called "Wherever You Go, There You Are: Mindfulness Meditation In Everyday Life". If you've followed my podcast for a while, you know that I've been practicing meditation for two years and it's drastically improved my life. This book helped take my practice to another level and the "Usual Suspects" found on page 121 & 122 are the emotions that I (and many of us) have internally struggled with throughout our life. This podcast better explains where I stand, and hopefully helps you stand and face these emotions with confidence.

When I run I constantly feel like I'm dying. Well, maybe not for the first 10 minutes or so, but after that it's pure hell. The catch 22 is that I love to run, so I've found ways to work around my running hatred. Dale Carnegie wrote an incredible book in the 1940's that is still so relevant today. Yes, he wrote the self-help classic "How to Win Friends and Influence People", but he also wrote an unsung gem in the genre of self improvement. That's the book we're talking about today. It's "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living: Time Tested Methods for Conquering Worry". At our current state in the world this book has been a HUGE help for me and might be a force for you as well.
