Rock Chalk Podcast

Kansas Football had their Spring Preview last month, and then a bunch of stuff happened in the transfer portal. To help cover it all, Andy is joined by Jordan Guskey of the Topeka Capitol Journal. They talk about the QB competition, what position groups are well manned and which ones have holes, and what to expect for the next few months. Then they spend some time talking about Jordan's experiences covering the basketball team winning a championship in his first season on the beat.

It's been a month since the Kansas Jayhawks won the National Championship, but it's the first time that Andy and Kyle have been on the podcast together since then. They talk about the lasting impressions from the team's run to the title and how it will be difficult to replicate the makeup of this team. Then they dive into NBA Draft decisions, which players might possibly come back, and what the roster might look like next season.

One of the best parts surrounding a run to a National Championship is seeing all the highlight videos, picture edits and other creative ways that Jayhawk fans express their appreciation for the team. As we continue to celebrate this title for the Jayhawks, Andy is joined by the man behind the Jayhawk Focus twitter account, which had several videos that were shared all over Jayhawk Twitter over the weekend. They discuss how process work to create videos, how he connects with recruits looking for edits, and some of his favorites. Then they look at the upcoming summer and season for several KC area sports before looking ahead to Kansas Football and Basketball for next year.

After the break, Andy runs through some news for Kansas Football, which is preparing for the Spring Football Preview on Saturday. Then it's time for updates on several other Kansas programs in action during the spring.
