Got to love a little word play!  A Perception Check is the most common ability check in D&D.  A Czech Pilsner is just a as straight up and down the most common type of Ale you can brew. So this Perception Czech from BattleMage is wordplay at it's finest and most drinkable.

End of a big week with Setting Sun Sake and Niuhi Brewing as we roll into the start of Sake Week in San Diego we're gonna lift our pinkies with something to make you feel classy.

Thirsty Thursday and Josh from Setting Sun Sake brings another cocktail with a dark comedic twist like only Josh can deliver. 

A sake cocktail inspired by Setting Sun Sake's Metal Swap Meet.  Just don't be like me and drink half to cocktail BEFORE you eat the garnish...WTF is a buzz button anyway!?

It might be 90 degrees out but it's still Fall in San Diego and nothing says Fall like a roasty bold brown ale with a pinch of spice.  What spice?  Listen and find out.

We've had Josh from Setting Sun Sake on the show a lot.  Now he's convinced Rhett from Niuhi Brewing Co. to let him brew beer!  We start this week with an IPA (huzzah!).  This hoppy 7% ABV brew is a fresh take on a O.G. San Diego IPA.

We end the week with another big flavor!  Serpentine Ciders take on a Hazy IPA in cider form.  Traditional apple cider that's hopped like a beer then fruited with apricot to simulate that fruity tropical yeast found in many NE style Hazy beers.

It's all about bold flavors!  Up until this point it's been bold flavors to the tune of 7% ABV.  But what if you lower the ABV, can you keep all the flavor?  Hell yes!  This Strawberry Lemon Basil cider is the proof!

Hump Day and we're going back to the cider that started it all for Serpentine Cider, Guava.  Originally brewed because of the guava tree in Sean's backyard and continues to be a mainstay because of it's big bold flavor.
