Looking forward to a new year of optimism and well wishes for 2018!

This is a mini episode to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all you you Rockstar's that subscribe and listen to the Rockstar Mentor Podcast.  The show would not be a success without all of the listeners who tune in and support the show.  I feel blessed that I can offer up some advice and words of experience to new artists and established artists that can benefit from the spirit of the show. 

Each year doesn't go without the challenges that life brings to us and of course there are the great things that each year bring to us as well.

Ep. 077 A Pocket Full of Chaos. True Confessions of Holiday Craziness
When the floor is coming up and the ceiling is coming down.

This week I am confessing about some of my own craziness in my art business. Most importantly I feel blessed to have a job that is my living and allows me to manage my own schedule.... however sometimes this is not always the case!  I refer to this as "A Pocket Full of Chaos!"

I am an artist and I also struggle with a lot of the things that get overwhelming in my art business. With the holiday season approaching I seem to feel like the ceiling is falling down and the ground is rising up.  Will I ever get caught up? Who knows?

Not only do I run Rockstar Mentor Podcast and website, I also own and produce painting events through my other company VinoPaint.com which is a sip and paint company.  Of course I run my art business at Sonyapaz.com

Ep. 076 Business is Business, Rockstar Mentor is not just for artists anymore!

I have received some great feedback and emails lately in regards to the show. Some peeps have found and recommended the show to non "artists' per se' and the consensus is that the Rockstar Mentor Podcast and mentoring website is for anyone in business!  A recent email sent to me from Jodie R. who is a paralegal in the New York area who commutes to work everyday found the podcast and she is pursuing her passion of being a jewelry designer as a side hustle to her Paralegal job. She goes on to say that she is not only inspired by the content, but as a business person, she finds all of the material that I cover in the podcasts to be extremely valuable to anyone in business.  She says that I have nailed it on the head!  Thanks Jodie!

Ep. 075 A passion for quilting and creating beautiful textile art with my dear friend and quilt artist, Annette Kelley.

"A friend is worth a thousand stitches"... I am not too sure who wrote that quote, but the meaning is so evident in todays episode of the Rockstar Mentor podcast! Annette has been creating for years and her quilts and other textile works are an amazing feat to behold. She creates truly from the heart with a vision and a passion.  She does not really sell her works, but she does what many artists do, and that is to create for the love of creating.
