A man’s life is changed by the loss of his mother. Roland Rocchiccioli started in the theatre in 1966. His childhood memoir, And Be Home Before Dark: A Childhood on the Edge of  Nowhere, was published in the US in March. Set in the 1950s Goldfields – it was a time a place the like of which Australia will never know again.
