The Swarm continues their trek back to the cave where the individual maintaining the forcefield is. Upon arriving the party gets into an intense battle. After which they head to Boomchester, they promptly find out that Johnny has been missing for quite some time and they go investigate.

Sors Esoterica stops by Pierre's place in order to see if he is fulfilling his promise to help rebuild the city and assist the people. They are pleasantly surprised to see he is running a food drive out of his club. After helping out the best they can and talking to Pierre, the party heads off towards the next lab.

The Swarm after being captured finds themselves confronted by a large man covered in stone and molten rock. He only talks to them briefly before knocking them unconscious and sending them away. The party wakes up to find themselves looked in the frozen part of the platinum dungeon. After struggling at their restraints they are met by the platinum queen who explains that they have a public execution coming up. In a wild fit of desperation Mugadak hurts himself enough to activate a wild magic effect that breaks them out of there.

The Swarm starts their hunt for whoever is maintaining the forcefield around Boomchester. They follow Jenny as she leads them to a spot where she thinks that the person might be. After locking onto some divine signature, they chase the entities underground. This causes them to set off some traps that lead them careening into the depths of the planet. Dodging obstacles and other hazards as they descend deeper.

Sors Esoterica starts to make their way to the abandoned school, traveling swiftly through the air. Upon their arrival to the school they are promptly attacked by a growing horde of undead. The party yells out proclaiming their peaceful intentions and is wearily granted entry into the necromancers home. They build some trust with the necromancer who eventually agrees to help theme exorcise Saybie. They then spend some time talking about their plans and thread forward. Then Sors Esoterica makes their way back to talk to Piere.

As Sors Esoterica prepares for the coming days, Tresal has gone missing without so much as a note. Saybie and Mort convene and start to hunt them down. After the use of magic and some good investigating, they find Tresal holed up inside the theater they had all gone to previously. The two spend some time consoling them for the pain they are going through and how to move forward. Later that day they figure out a plan to try and get Saybie's scarf unpossessed and set out the next morning.

Wordweaver after reading the spell scroll turns into a storm giant before the council of Goliath chiefs. This warrants them all agreeing to join him in the fight against the Platinum Queen. While back in Boomchester Noesiah and Mugadak recruit the ex-Platinum Guard in order to try and figure out a way to get rid of the forcefield.

Noesiah and Mugadak say their goodbye's to Wordweaver before he heads off to the mountains where his meeting is supposed to occur. When he arrives he finds himself deep underground in the presence of an ancient starved storm giant. He tunnels the two of them up and out of the mountain, where he gets promptly knocked out. Later finding the giant was creating a giant storm trying to summon some sort of catastrophe. Meanwhile Mugadak and Noesiah spar like good old times in order to see how strong they have become.

The Swarm fights off the glass golem they brought within Boomchester. After which, they attempt to reuse its mind in order to try and convince the other automatons to leave. This is met with little success and the party works together to come up with a new plan as the stone giants take care of the golems. Ultimately settling on sending messages out to past allies and Wordweaver prepares to talk to all of the Goliath chiefs. Secretly in the evenings Zani has been sneaking out to train with Mugadak in order to learn how to fight.

The Swarm composes themselves from exiting Blackrazor and teleports to Boomchester in order to meet up with the stone giants. They figure out that the city is currently under siege by an army of glass golems. After a conversation with Lutor the Swarm realizes that Rad is out and about causing some problems for the golems. They go out and collect the mushroom wizard and begin to figure out plans for the army of golems around Boomchester.
