Saybie's Bitches makes their way into the overrun and corrupted Philipsburg. They sneak around the city narrowly avoiding a confrontation with a corrupted priest and swarms of dog like mutants. After making their way through the city they eventually make it to the monster hunters guild and are confronted by a terrifying child. This child claims to have met the party before and that Tresal sacrificed a fellow party member for resources in order to go north. After Mort's clever thinking they escape the monster hunters guild with the piece they need and start running out of the city.

Mort runs off in order to find some guards to report the monster, but has no luck in finding anyone. Meanwhile Tresal starts harvesting the creature for its various body parts and excretions. Saybie gets led home by Mountebank, where she instantly gets questioned about her parents but due to her drugged state cannot answer. Eventually the everyone reconvenes and decides to take a trip to Che in order to relay some information and get some resources before departing the city. On their way out of the city they are assaulted by a corrupted creature that they quickly dispatch and report to local authorities. They then start making their way to the lab. When they arrive they attempted to spread the cure to corruption but discover a part to Sofi is missing and in Phillipsburg. After some talking and comparing, they discover who Mort's long lost father is.

The second of a two part mini series where a party of elite soldiers is brought together in order to rescue or destroy the fuel for a large continent ending cannon.

The first of a two part mini series where a party of elite soldiers is brought together in order to rescue or destroy the fuel for a large continent ending cannon.

The Swarm starts to come to terms with Mugadaks decision to complete change his state of being. Noesiah finally takes the effort to have a conversation with him and try and find some understanding. After a long day the party lays down to sleep, all of them then being thrown into an odd dream. The dreams had them converge on a black tree with veins of blue energy pulsing through it. They see the prior incarnations of themselves and the most likely next generation behind them. After spending a lot of time conversing with the future versions of themselves, they head into the tree to converse with the past.

The Swarm follows Mugadak down the mineshaft deep into the mountain, where they find a magnificent city made up of gold and precious metals. Upon exploring the space, they discover it is being built by a gold dragon and his Azar workers. Upon much debating over what is owed between the them, the Swarm teleports back home and waits while their machines are made for them. Heading back to the city Mugadak and Wordweaver end up in the lava beneath the city and quickly attempt to get themselves out. Eventually they retrieve their robots and head back home, where they each have their own little servant. 

Upon Mugadak's re-arrival to this world, he is bound in mystical chains as they finish asking him their questions. Once they are satisfied that he is back to himself, Noesiah exits silently leaving him in Wordweaver's care. Wordweaver takes him throughout the city in order to readjust to being one with the living and no longer be a vampire. As they do such, Noesiah spends some time mediating in order to get a better understanding of what abilities she has access to. Eventually they are sent out to recover some missing gold for Johnny, as the party is low on money and needs the work and to help their friend.

Saybie and Tresal burn and bury Morals, leaving him in the Immeterium where he seemed to have the most fun. Eventually they continue their walk to where the wild dreamscapes are. On their walk they eventually come across a corvid of some sorts. Realizing the importance of the bird they follow it all the way into a dreamscape. In this dream a black haired man is fighting a zombie Halfling. Upon exiting the dream, they meet Mort, a friendly and confused human man. After much discussion, they realize how closely aligned all of their goals are and decide to help on another. That evening they all work to make a grand feast for the holidays and enjoy each others company. The next morning they are questioned by the guards, as one person was brutally murdered in the night and the other is missing. So the group goes on a hunt and is quickly met with some sort aberrant creature.

After sleeping separately and having respective conversations, the party reconvenes in order to left Morals do his thing throughout the city. Tresal gives their parents instructions and leaves some weapons behind for them as the party goes off. After spending some time in the city, they decide to prematurely leave as there really wasn't much left for them there. The party travels for some days under the weight of tension and a very fragile alliance. One evening Tresal confronts Morals about him saying that he would gut Tresal's mom like a pig if they stepped out of line. This leads to a lengthy back and forth argument between the two. Tresal trying to drag Morals back from the brink while Morals trying to force Tresal to decide for him what will happen to him. Eventually Tresal snaps and starts laying into him about how stupid he is being. Which boils over to a fight between the two, leaving one of them dead but never forgotten.

The Swarm packs their things and marches back home mourning the loss of Mugadak. On their way back they pass the tree that had attacked them earlier on their journey and decided to be spiteful. They throw an explosive beneath it and gets launched into the air and lands on top of the party. Eventually they make it back home from their busy few weeks of chaos and decide to rest. They spend time with their loved ones and mourn the ones they lost. After which Wordweaver bleeds Johnny dry for diamonds in order to bring Mugadak back. Upon his arrival they realize he is back to is regular self and that he has some plans to grow and become comfortable with life again.
