December 20, 2020Episode 8. I have Cerebral Palsy and I have bathroom issuesLast night I ended up having a crazy stomach ache and as a result I had to use the bathroom quite a bit. Usually my counter to that is to drink a bunch of water and it worked. I felt better quite quickly but as a result I didn't sleep very well I was at multiple times in the middle of the night to pee. And for someone with Cerebral Palsy and limited movement that could be very difficult and so I go into that sort of series of events in this episode....more21minPlay
December 19, 2020Episode 7. My opinion on electric carsToday I talk about electric cars being toted as the savior of our planet and a replacement for gas powered vehicles. While I agree they're going to help a lot I talk about the thing that needs to change the most. Our consumerism and the fact that we buy a new car every two years has a lot more negative impact on the planet than what we drive....more16minPlay
December 18, 2020Episode 6. Motivation isn't enough, commit and do it even if you don't want to!I didn't want to get out of bed today and do a podcast episode. But I did one and I'm happy that I did. I recognized that the commitment I made to myself could you daily episodes for at least 30 days was super important to me. I knew even though I didn't want to that I had to record this today. December 16, 2020Episode 4. How to have balance in your relationshipsIn this episode I talk about being okay with who you are. Also understanding that not every person is going to like you and even if they do like you they're not going to be able to meet you at the same level that you meet them. What I mean by that is they're not going to always give and receive love in the same way that you do or give and receive friendship in the same way that you do and you have to be okay with figuring out the balance....more17minPlay
December 15, 2020Episode 3. Do you love Christmas or not so much? For many years I've been on the side of Ebenezer Scrooge and the Grinch. it's not that I didn't enjoy Christmas and getting gifts and buying gifts for people but I always felt stressed out by Christmas. The parties the obligation the annoying conversations when you didn't want to go to somebody's party. The people that love Christmas way too much and just wanted everybody to be involved in Christmas. Since the pandemic I've changed my view a little bit and I can see why a lot of people like Christmas and it's made me enjoy it a little bit more. I will enjoy it this year. And I also reflect on, how this represents life and not going to extremes. You don't need to hate Christmas and you definitely don't need to be a Christmas nut Job you can be somewhere in the middle. Just like life you don't need to work 18 hours a day and have a bunch of stuff. In turn you don't need to sit at home and do nothing because you don't want to work for the man . There's some definite benefits to having goals and having something to get up and get to....more16minPlay
