In this episode, I sit down with Moy Schwartzman and Gabriel Mondlak, the founders of Attesi Lodge, a village in the mountains outside of Mexico City, whose journey will challenge everything you think you know about success, happiness, and spirituality.
They had everything.
Careers in law. Financial success. Status. Opportunity.
And yet… they felt empty.
In this deeply honest conversation, Moy and Gabriel share how that realization led them to step away from the path they were told would make them happy—and instead build something entirely different.
What started as a search for meaning through nature and indigenous wisdom eventually brought them full circle… back to Torah, back to their roots, and back to a life of true connection.
Moy Schwartzman, co-founder of Attesi, is a lawyer by profession and a farmer by passion. He has spent over 20 years studying and applying permaculture principles and sustainable design, integrating environmental stewardship with a deep commitment to Torah and lifelong learning. His vision is centered on creating intentional spaces where people can truly connect—to themselves, to others, and to Gd.
Gabriel Mondlak is a Mexican entrepreneur and founder of Attesi. After building a successful career in law and business, he felt a deeper calling to reexamine his path and pursue a more meaningful life. That search led him to create Attesi—a living, evolving model that brings together families, education, regenerative agriculture, and hospitality into a cohesive, values-driven way of living. Today, he is fully dedicated to expanding this vision and exploring how modern life can be aligned with deeper purpose and responsibility.
Together, we explore:
- The hidden emptiness behind success and achievement
- Why so many people today feel disconnected despite “having it all”
- The moment they realized Judaism held what they were searching for
- How Attesi Lodge was built from nothing into a thriving, purpose-driven community
- A new model of living that integrates spirituality, family, and intention
- And what it actually means to create a life you don’t need to escape from
This conversation is not about leaving your life.
It’s about learning how to live it differently.
If you’ve ever felt like there has to be more…this episode is for you.
