Välkomna till en ny säsong av ROOKIIS x med oss oss - Henke Åhlund & Otto Blücker

I första avsnittet för den här säsongen har vi ingen mindre än Jenny Josefsson med oss.

En fantastisk person som vi lärde känna på ett event arrangerat av Salomon. Efter det kände vi att det var ett måste att få med Jenny i podden.

Jenny gjorde sitt första ultralopp 2009, och då genom att springa ett 24-timmarslopp.

Hon har sprungit Ultravasan under 9 timmar, vunnit EcoTrail och Jättelångt.

Jenny Josefsson har också gått i mål på både UTMB och Kullamannen - något vi kommer prata om i dagens avsnitt.

Vi är så glada över att vara igång med en ny säsong och först ut är ingen mindre än ultra löparen Jenny Josefsson som ger oss tips och tricks på hur man kommer igång med löpning utöver det vanliga. Vi hade förmånen att höra en del om hennes uppväxt i Sollefteå, vi pratade längdskidåkning och vad man skall tänka på när man bestämmer sig för att springa +10mil i bergen.

Äntligen! En ny säsong av ROOKIIS x.

Vi har verkligen sett framemot att dra igång igen när vi har varit ute på vägarna.

Under hösten kommer vi träffa experter inom ultra löpning, klättring, landsvägscykel och mycket mer.

Vi har med oss tidigare vänner av podden och nya. Dessutom, nu kör vi på svenska!

Hazel Findlay has been climbing for 27 of her 33 years, and started out trad climbing on the limestone sea cliffs of Pembrokeshire. In her youth she enjoyed competition climbing - she was the British junior champion six times - but at 16 decided to give it up to focus on climbing on rock, especially trad climbing which is her main passion.

Hazel has been a full time climber for the last eight years, which has allowed her to travel all over the world climbing interesting pieces of rock.

Since we sat down with this episodes guest, he has been on the first leg of his tour ”My Happy Place” - The first time I saw him perform was at a local pub in Stockholm where he did hilarious bits about Swedens and how we are as a people. And what stood out in my opininon was that he did it with love, no mocking or pointing fingers at the crowd.

Born in England, grew up in New Zealand, he came to Sweden around 2010 and over the years he have become a close friend of mine and I have had the pleasure to work with him on many occations, thank you for that
