I have never been one who put much thought into my home... the pillows, the pictures, these things never grabbed my attention as what I was missing. However, the last few weeks I came to the realization that it is up to me to shape my home in a way that brings God glory! Today I want to chat about how we can work to create a Proverbs 31 Home. With each birthday that passes I am finding myself having more lightbulb moments... if you will. I wish I could have learned some of these earlier in life, but today I want to chat about 3 things I've learned on this past years trip around the sun: why we need to crave peacefulness, why we need to slow down and why we need to seek after Godly discernment.

Learning is not one size fits all so why would we think education should the same? Homeschooling has allowed us to explore so many new areas with our boys and I believe has allowed them to grow more! Homeschooling isnt't for everyone but today I want to encourage you. If you have been thinking about it, go for it! If it doesn't work out, chalk it up for a learning experience, BUT what if it does work!
