Say it with me... "You don't have to do EVERYTHING!"
How many times do we tell ourself we have to get EVERYTHING done? How many times do we beat our self up because we don't get to everything? How many times do we expect our bodies to work when we push them beyond what they should be doing? Let me share my perspective... WAY TOO OFTEN!
Mixing homeschooling, homesteading, oh and being pregnant with #6 I am just as guilty as the next. I have a hard time asking for help or admitting that I can't do it all! It is time to normalize, functional living!

Sometimes we lose track of who we are suppose to be competing with... When we stand in front of God on Judgement Day, He is going to ask us if we were the best We could be. He is not looking to compare us to those around us. We need to focus on being the Best Us!

How did Adam and Eve REALLY populate the world? Why did we go from living 900 years to only 120? oh and what was REALLY so special about Noah?
These are always things I didn't understand! However, I started doing the Bible Recap... yes I know the goal is to start reading in January but God meets us where we are and this is where I am! It's never too late to start something new or to start over!
The biggest thing to realize is that God's truth will always win! Sometimes it seems like Satan is making advances but just like in war, some battles are won while others are lost, but there is only one winner overal and that will always be God!

When things aren't going right... When things are too much... When we feel like a failure! How do we start over? How do we get back on track? And what does that even mean? I golden nugget I have found is that if we are relying on ourself... our spouse... or our children to fill up our cup, then we are going to be disappointed! Let me explain as we chat today!

Ep. 48
Love is where it's at... in life we can focus so much on how green others pastures are that we forget to water our own. But if we change our focus to being grateful for the success of others and the accomplishments they have made, then there can be no root for envy!

Welcome to Ep. 47! Our happy-go-lucky son Steven has not been so happy the last few days and it reminded me that not every day can be bliss. We are going to have those days that nothing seems to go right or that we are in a bit of a mood funk. The trick is that we can't stay there, we have to find a way out of that hole! So today I want to chat about some ideas to turn that frown upside down!
