Mike has over fifteen years of strength and conditioning experience, having been the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at two colleges, where he oversaw the training of 26 varsity teams, supervised the campus fitness center and its staff, ran the colleges’ strength and conditioning internship programs, and helped coach the track teams. Taking a position with United States Army Special Operations Command, Caro has now coached in all major sectors of the strength & conditioning profession; from youth to professional and from high school to Division I college.
He received his Master’s Degree in Exercise Science & Health Promotion from California University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor’s degree from Siena Heights University, where he had a successful track and field career, culminating with a university record and a finish in the 2003 National Champion in the Hammer Throw. Caro was inducted into the SHU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014. A sought-after speaker in the strength and conditioning realm, Mike formerly served as the Chair of the NSCA’s College Coaches Professional Development Group and the College Coaches Advocacy Working Group. He works diligently with the NSCA to improve the strength and conditioning career field for both coaches and their athletes.

AT ASHLAND UNIVERSITY
Majesky is in his eighth year as the Eagle athletic program’s Head Strength & Conditioning Coach. He oversees the training and development of 24 varsity teams, as well as the day-to-day operations of two varsity athletic weight rooms.
BEFORE ASHLAND UNIVERSITY
Prior to returning to Ashland, Majesky was an Athletic Conditioning Specialist at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center for more than two years. In that role, he was a contracted head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Ohio Dominican University, working with the football and women’s soccer programs, and Olentangy Orange High School. Majesky was responsible for designing and carrying out exercise routines and also providing functional movement screens for 800 college and high school athletes in 17 sports.

Majesky also has worked as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist for the United States Army, as a personal trainer at the Ashland YMCA, and as a full-time summer intern for the National Football League’s Cleveland Browns.
PERSONAL
Majesky is a member of the AU Class of 2010 and was a two-time team captain on the Eagle track and field team as a thrower. He also earned a Master of Physiology degree from Ashland in 2012 and was an assistant strength coach and classroom instructor at AU during his time as a graduate student.

In 2015, Majesky was the recipient of the Ashland University Exercise Science Department Alumni of the Year Award. Majesky is married to Abby, formerly Ashland's assistant track and field coach for jumps/multis. Malcolm and Abby are the proud parents of Penelope, born April 2016, Olivia, born July 2018, and Phoebe, born November 2021.

Nate Young brings almost 20 years of strength and conditioning experience to the table. He is currently working privately with remote clients. Previously, Nate was the Head Strength and Conditioning coach for Buffalo State College for 10 years, a public Division 3 college in Western New York where he was responsible for overseeing, designing, and assisting with the implementation of training initiatives related to the 18 varsity teams at the institution.
Prior to his role at Buffalo State, Nate spent two years as a civilian musculoskeletal action team coach with the United States Army at Fort Sill in Lawton, OK where he was the subject matter expert in the FM 7-22, the Army's physical training manual. He spent three years as the men’s and women’s basketball strength and conditioning coach at Murray State University, and three years as an assistant strength coach at Florida International University. He began his professional career as a strength and conditioning intern at Binghamton University.

Young competed in track and field as a thrower locally at Canisius College before transferring to Liberty University where he was the Big South shot put conference champion in the year 2000 and also played defensive tackle with the football team for one season.

The native of Rome, N.Y. completed his bachelor’s in exercise science from Liberty in 2003 and went on to earn his master’s in exercise physiology and strength and conditioning from Florida International in 2005. Young is a certified strength and conditioning specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

JT was born and raised in Aurora, Ohio a suburb of Cleveland. Started in strength and conditioning as a summer volunteer intern at The Spot Athletics in Columbus Ohio, and was then hired on at The Spot Athletics as a Performance Coach. From there got an opportunity as a volunteer intern at Ohio State University, before spending two seasons with the New York Jets. After the Jets, moved down to Louisiana to work at Southeastern Louisiana University. After one year with Southeastern, moved up to Buffalo, NY to work with WBB at University at Buffalo.
