It sucks, and there is no way anyone actually likes it - you all know what I'm talking about, even though no one really knows what it's called so "Groovy, Boogie, Disco, Funk" etc. will do. It's repetitive, boring, mundane, and in no way is it different or "alt" to like it because every white person in Cape Town between the ages of 19 and 26 says they like it... and the best part is all these fuckers were absolutely loving Tin Roof and Strictly 2000's (OR Future Frequency when Techno was still "alt") not even a couple years ago.
Also - exclusively smoking rollies or wearing a 5-panel doesn't make it cooler, in fact it just makes it worse, because once again - every single white person in the aforementioned age bracket is doing it, and if you are any older than 26 and still at it, stop. Now.
DISCLAIMER: I don't actually give a fuck if you listen to Boogie-Disco-Funk , smoke rollies and wear 5-panels, but, please stop pretending you're "alt" - have a look around the crowd at the next FLOAT or Tjok gig... everyone looks the same, and everyone is white.

Emotions, we all have them, and they can be a really tricky thing to navigate. I get sensitive sometimes, as we all do. From getting over people who wrong you, to worrying about relationships, letting yourself be vulnerable and opening up, why crying is actually good for us, and a lot more.

NB - I am not a medical professional, this is simply my own experience and what I should have done different to get help and deal with it.

Divorce is a tricky and often traumatic thing for a family to go through. In this episode I look at it from my perspective, as a child caught up in everything - the messenger between homes, the trauma of it, fear of abandonment and rejection and parental relationships. But, I do take the positives which came out of it all, and elaborate further on those, even though I may have only recently realised their existence.
