  • Innez & Matthew: Katharine Daly Tribute Show
Innez Tulloch is currently filling the shoes as the 3CR Volunteers and Training Coordinator. Usually, behind the scenes, Innez reached out to Joe 3CR's Music Coordinator with a request to program this special edition of Rotations. Innez is joined by Matthew Ford, founder of Tenth Court Records for a special tribute to Naarm based artist Katharine Daly who moved on from this realm a couple of months ago.   Katharine leaves us with an incredible catalogue of rollicking modern folk music. Sometimes playful, sometimes mournful but always with a political slant, sticking it to the man with humour and sass. Innez and Matthew share songs by Ostraaly and other projects Katharine was involved in, as well as some of her favourite tracks picked by Kath's bandmates. We hope the 3CR community enjoys Katharine's music as much as she loved creating it.   To listen to more or to download Ostraaly head to Bandcamp - https://ostraalyband.bandcamp.com/  Visit https://3cr.org.au/rotations for a full list of previous Rotations programs and hosts.

  • Sally Goldner / "The Storyteller"/ Tom T. Hall Tribute Show
I presented my Tom T. Hall tribute show on 10 October 2021 following his passing on 20 August. As a child, Tom’s amazing song-writing and storytelling was something all my family loved; I found much joy and inspiration in the words and music. The show was vastly different to Out of the Pan – nothing queer; all the same, still some sense of justice e.g. The Monkey Who Became President and Tom’s cover of John Prine’s Paradise (environment).Song selection was hard because I love every Tom T. Hall song; as well as his more thoughtful songs, I hope the range I played conveyed love, including for his sense of humour and respect for country and bluegrass.I wish listeners much enjoyment. All songs performed by Tom T. Hall: The Ballad of Forty Dollars Margie’s at the Lincoln Park Inn Salute to a Switchblade The Year that Clayton Delaney Died The Monkey Who Became President The Story of Your Life Country Is Lyin Jim Negatory Romance Paradise Your Man loves you Honey Three Sofa Story Greed Kills More People than Whiskey Soldier of Fortune Song of the South A Headstone for Harry

  • Alex K / Rotations 4
I'm Alex K, I co-present and produce a show called the Greek Resistance Bulletin on Tuesdays at 10:00pm. We cover news about Greek politics, social movements and the extra-parliamentary left. My shows on Rotations are an enjoyable self-indulgence in that I try not to restrict myself to explicitly political and Greek music that I would normally play on GRB. I'm into all sorts of fuzzy/lo-fi/weird/sounds from and influenced by underground movements from the late 60s onwards. These movements breathed the same fumes as the long waves of class, political and social struggle so what I play is political but maybe indirectly.

  • AC & Michaela / Anti-Nuclear Music
AC and Michaela are producers from the Radioactive Show team. Both are active in the nuclear free movement and passionate about community radio. Our show was an eclectic mix of local and international musicians creating nuclear-free themed music. From hip hop songs like "Muckaty" by Kylie Sambo, desert rock from The Desert Stars and Japanese dub music from Rankin Taxi and the Dub Ainu Band, to classics like "We almost lost Chicago" by Gil Scott Heron and "Thou Shalt Not Steal" by Kev Carmody.
