Rotations

I am Meg Kimber, I co-host 3CR's City Limits on Wednesdays 9am. I'm also a musician. This week, I'll be playing the records that got our house through lockdown.During lockdown 2020 we kept ourselves busy cooking elaborate meals and would have a feature record with every dinner. For this Rotations, I chose a selection of our favourite songs, which covers Australian psychedelica, femme folk, some classic 60s and more.

I'm Alex K, I co-present and produce a show called the Greek Resistance Bulletin on Tuesdays at 10:00pm. We cover news about Greek politics, social movements and the extra-parliamentary left.My shows on Rotations are an enjoyable self-indulgence in that I try not to restrict myself to explicitly political and Greek music that I would normally play on GRB.I'm into all sorts of fuzzy/lo-fi/weird/sounds from and influenced by underground movements from the late 60s onwards. These movements breathed the same fumes as the long waves of class, political and social struggle so what I play is political but maybe indirectly.
