The NFL season is finally here, and Stefan, Mike, and Eric kick off Week 1 presented by RotoViz by talking about one of the biggest challenges of the early season: figuring out how much we actually know.

The guys start by discussing their approach to the first four weeks of the season, including the importance of staying disciplined when there is limited information, being cautious with new situations, and looking for opportunities where preseason research can create an edge. They debate everything from new coaching staffs and quarterbacks to injuries, roster turnover, and teams that may take time to find their footing.

From there it's into the Week 1 card. The crew works through a wide variety of matchups across the league, including games involving Chicago, Carolina, New Orleans, Detroit, Miami, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Washington, Green Bay, Minnesota, and the Chargers. Along the way, they discuss offensive changes, quarterback situations, coaching continuity, player usage, defensive matchups, and which teams they believe the market may be overrating or underrating.

The hosts then run through three rounds of picks, giving each other the opportunity to tail or fade the plays as they go. The format brings plenty of agreement, disagreement, and a few moments where preseason research and personal team biases collide.

After the three rounds, each host selects their favorite play as their official show pick of the week. The group then gets the opportunity to veto any pick they don't believe belongs on the official card, but ultimately lets all three selections stand.

Finally, the NFL edition of the Frat Boy Parlay makes its debut. Each host contributes a leg without knowing what the others have selected, with the goal of building a suitably ridiculous but potentially profitable Week 1 parlay. The guys also discuss the consequences attached to the weekly group bet and what happens if one of their legs comes up short.

College football is officially back, and Stefan, Mike, and Eric kick off the season with a loaded week one slate presented by RotoViz. The guys open by trading storylines before the picks even start: what a new coordinator and receiver room could mean for Utah, whether Georgia's rare roster continuity points to another Kirby Smart title run, and the UCLA-Cal quarterback matchup between transfer Nico Iamaleava and Cal's returning signal caller.

From there it's straight into the picks, and the card is stacked. The crew breaks down Miami's trip to Stanford, Clemson traveling to a rebuilt LSU team led by Arizona State transfer Sam Leavitt, and that UCLA-Cal showdown they teed up earlier. They dig into SMU's road trip to a shaky Florida State squad, a busy afternoon featuring Auburn-Baylor and Cincinnati-Boston College, and a Wisconsin offense getting tested by Notre Dame. Fresno State heading into USC gets its own debate, along with the New Mexico game and the Colorado State-Wyoming rivalry matchup for the Bronze Boot.

As always, the hosts run through three rounds of picks, decide who's getting tailed or faded, lock in their show picks of the week, and close it out with the Frat Boy Parlay, a four-leg group bet built around Indiana-North Texas.
