What is the verbal plenary inspiration of Scripture? The Snowbird pastors discussed the authority and accuracy of God’s Word and how God expects us to respond to it.
Every single word we read was intentionally placed there by the Holy Spirit. God used human writers to pen the exact words He ordained for us to have now.
Paul wrote in 2 Timothy that all Scripture is breathed out by God, and every word has implications for the believer. God’s Word is good and it is the final authority. We must learn what the implications were for the original context and time of the passage, and then we must obey what it means for us right now.
Conversation with Snowbird directors:
- Brody Holloway
- Zach Mabry
- Rob Conti
- Spencer Davis
Resources:
- 2 Timothy 3:16-17
