I thought moving abroad would change my life.

It did... just not in the way I expected.

Thailand taught me how to choose myself without feeling guilty.

Laos reminded me that I didn't have to change who I was to be accepted.

China taught me that not everyone is meant to stay in my life—and that's okay.

Vietnam showed me that creating space in relationships is healthy.

Malaysia reminded me how much peace there is in enjoying my own company.

This conversation isn't really about travel.

It's about learning to trust yourself enough to build a life that feels like yours instead of the life everyone else expects you to live.
