This week's edition of the show starts off with a very unusual record and a mystery I'm hoping some listener can help with. Last weekend I found a 12" Columbia electrical 78 with a completely blank label on both sides of the record! It's in E condition and I transferred it and play both sides in the first segment of the show. The first side is an instrumental and I don't recognize the tune, but I'm hoping someone out there will not only know the tune, but also the orchestra. The second side is a vocal of a popular World War I song, but again, the orchestra is not shown on the label. In the second segment, we'll reluctantly get up out of bed. Henry Creamer and Louis Alter both get birthday tributes and we'll spend some time down by the river. If you enjoy the show, please let us know by leaving a comment on the website or the Facebook page or sending an email to
