Welcome to "Rapidly Rotating Records", Glenn Robison's weekly, one-hour radio program of "toe-tapping music from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and 30s", broadcast Sunday evening at 6:00 PM over KISL FM 88.7 Avalon.
This week's show is an all birthday affair as we celebrate the birthdays of Ohio, Florida, Rubey Cowan, Jimmy Dorsey and the United States Steel Corporation. It's also a disaster (some would say *every* show is a disaster!) as we play a couple of rather bizarre records titled "Ohio Prison Fire," and the murder ballad "Down On The Banks Of The Ohio."
