Elisabeth Hanscombe, who holds academic status at Flinders University, has published numerous short stories and essays in autobiography, psychoanalysis, testimony, trauma, and creative non-fiction. Her PhD, ‘Life writing and the desire for revenge’ was accepted in 2012 and her first book The Art of Disappearing was published by Glass House books in 2017. Her next, The Museum of Failure, in February 2025.

THIS FRIDAY, Carl Abrahamsson and I will be leading a 2-hour workshop. This will be the 3rd workshop in our year long Sentient Solar Cycle. Each month on the 23rd, we look at the astrology, cycles of the moon, and seasonal shifts, consulting the runes and tarot. Our focus is how to integrate magical practices into daily life, working with natural cycles and one’s own creative practices.
