Director Ruben Fleischer has teased a potential Zombieland 3 with a target release date of 2029, following the ten-year gap between the first two films which were released in 2009 and 2019. Fleischer mentioned that the cast, producers, and writers recently communicated and expressed interest in making another sequel. He emphasized that while there's still some time to plan, they need to "get on it" to meet the desired 2029 release.
