If something is worth doing, you must do it. Commit to the long game. “It’s difficult to get over the guilt that you’re spending time for no return in the short term.” You have to shut that voice in your head up and follow your gut. It’s hard. This is for the musician playing to an empty room, the photographer posting to a handful of followers, the entrepreneur creating for no one. In the beginning, you’re doing the work completely for the purpose of the project.
