Run CMB

This week's deluxe touches on the NBA draft and if crying is allowed during the moment.  Also, who the hell are these dudes?

They say hip-hop is dead but we found 9 artists who are keeping it alive and well.  Some of these artists are new, and some have been in the game for a while but these artists crept up on our radar this year in 2020 and we are beatin the drums to make sure yall all are up on them too.  Of course the Run CMB Soundtrack is just drippin with sauce after this week, so make sure you check out the updates this week.  Don't forget to catch the deluxe edition and see what kind of nonsense we on.  Be sure to follow us on Twitter @cmb_run and on Facebook @Runcmbpodcast.  Tell your peoples about us.

CMB is back on the music grind to conclude whose Wu squad comes out with the W after the previous fantasy draft.  We also dive into the Wu documentary and expand on the genius of Rza.  Before that, we look at some albums that snuck under the radar in the last month and talk about which formula works best; dropping a 16 track album, or a nice 6 piece to keep the fans wanting more?  Then of course we put you up on game and let you know what we rockin to this week as we update the Run CMB Soundtrack on Spotify.   Don't forget to like and share the pod, and give us the 5 mics rating.  Follow us on Twitter @cmb_run and on Facebook @runcmbpodcast.

Aftershow banter on what Hollywood franchises get it right, did we need a Bad Boys 3 and is Cristopher Nolan Hollywood's savior?  Don't forget to like and share the show, as well as catch this week's episode as we conclude the Wu Draft.  Follow us on Twitter @cmb_run and on Facebook @runcmbpodcast.  Of course, make sure you check the playlist on Spotify, the Run CMB Soundtrack

As much as we love hip-hop we love our right to vote and no vote mattered more than this year's presidential election.  CMB talks about what we have seen over the course of the election.  What did we learn, what left us confused, and what were some hip-hop legends thinking?!?!?  WU part 2 is coming next week, but these issues are too big to ignore.  But when you are in the mood to get your head noddin, be sure to check out the Run CMB Soundtrack on Spotify and tell the world about your boys.

During the after-party this week, we give thoughts on the NBA ratings and if the social justice campaigns had the impact that the media proclaimed it to have.  We also give a definitive answer on when it is ok to turn the heat on in the house.  Make sure you also check our WU-Tang episode this week where we do our fantasy WU draft as well as the Run CMB Soundtrack which gets updated weekly with the heat.

Maybe our wildest episode yet!  CMB with another flowers episode where we discuss the legacy of Wu-Tang and give our thoughts on how and why they have been able to transcend beyond hip-hop before we do a fantasy WU draft.  We also spend some time discussing which album we are most excited to see over these last few months of 2020, and how has music consumption changed artist production.  The main course is on point as usually but the sidebar this week was on one!  Be sure to check it then check the deluxe edition where we chat on politics and sports.  AND THEN check out the Run CMB Soundtrack on Spotify. Hip hop gold!

Welcome to the "Deluxe Edition" of the Run CMB podcast.  Chris, Matt and Brandon do their typical post show wrap up, but more importantly we talk about life.  This week we chat about showing respect to your peoples and if we prefer being called black or African American.  Be sure to check us on twitter @cmb_run, and on Fbook and IG @Runcmbpodcast.  And of course, the best playlist in the game the Run CMB Soundtrack on spotify.

CMB is back to talk about some of the best crews in the history of hip hop and Brandon has a ridiculous plan to put two of the best groups in hip hop on the same album.  Be sure to check us on twitter at cmb_run to let us know who we forgot. Don't forget to check out the absolute best playlist in hip hop, the Run CMB soundtrack on Spotify.  And in this week's deluxe edition, the three kings spit about life and black v African American.

So much hip hop, so little time.  Who you got in the battle of supreme lyricists: Kendrick or Lupe? Where did this beef start?  Is this beef really about martial arts?!?! Let us explain.  Is Kanye mad? Or a mad genius?  We also gotta talk about the Rolling Stones listing The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill as the best hip hop album of all time.  All this and we still gotta put you up on game on what hits to check out this week as we hit the way back machine and check out some projects from years past.  Make sure you check out the Run CMB Soundtrack on Spotify and spread the love about your boys.  This is where real hip hop lives.
