Run CMB

Ya boys Chris, Matt and Brandon did some experimenting this week and just let them thoughts go once the record button was hit.  Take a look behind the curtain and peek into what CMB's text thread looks like on a weekly basis.  So much to cover, so little time, but we sure as hell try.  Kanye has thoughts on the industry, Matt still watching music videos for some reason, and how are artists making money these days?  These are just of the topics we touch on.  And once you done checking us out here, be sure to catch the Run CMB Soundtrack on Spotify.  Tell your peoples about us, and don't forget to like and follow the pod wherever it is that you listen to the show.

CMB is finally back to catch up on all things hip hop.  We dive into recent projects from Big Sean, Dave East, The Lox and Vic Mensa before giving roses to none other than Nas himself.  As always we let you know what we are rockin to this week to update the Run CMB Soundtrack that you can catch on Spotify.  The absolute best hip hop playlist out there. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and IG.

It has been a few months since CMB had to put the laughs on hold and discuss the serious issues surrounding the death of George Floyd, but here we are again.  As black men, we have to discuss the events surrounding the death of Jacob Blake and again, defend ourselves and the rhetoric around being a black man in this country.  We encourage you to check our first Black Lives Matter episode as we discussed the parallels between hip hop and the BLM movement and updated the Run CMB Soundtrack with songs that speak to these very issues.

Chris, Matt and Brandon discuss the impact of the recent killings of black men and the subsequent protests and its impact on their lives as well as hip-hop's role discussing the struggle throughout its history. They also pass along some tracks that describe the struggle that you can find on the "Run CMB Podcast Playlist". Be sure to follow the show and the playlist.

The '07-'11 XXL Freshmen classes were brought out some of the best MCs to ever do it.  J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and so many more.  Which class was the greatest of them all?  Your boys CMB discuss, but not before discussing what makes a classic and who can honestly claim 5 classic albums to their name?

Make sure you check the Run CMB Soundtrack on Spotify which is updated weekly.  Easily one of, if not THE best, hip hop playlist today. Then check us out on Twitter, IG and Fbook and tell your peoples about us.
