A review of the economic impact Holland Haven Marathon has on the City of Holland and surrounding community.  In 2019 Holland Haven Marathon had an economic impact of almost a half million dollars.  The 2021 event followed in that same manner of having a positive effect on the community.
Interview with runner and race director Mandy Kitchen.  Mandy began running by beating all the boys in junior high.  She has run over 50 races.  Mandy is the race director for Metro Way 5K and Light Point 5K.

2021 was a transition year coming off the Covid restrictions in place for the 2020 race.  It was also the hottest year on record and most attended.  Winners in some events were slower than normal.  The emcee, volunteers and spectators were all awesome on race day.  There was plenty to see and do at the outdoor recovery zone.
