An Independent MP is launching an election campaign, calling for greater investment in health care in the regions. 

Member for Indi Helen Haines' health policy would encourage governments to improve training of healthcare workers and invest in infrastructure and facilities.

Rural Editor Emily Minney spoke with Ms Haines about her policy heading into the federal election.
