There are moments our expectations will hit a dead end. Even then God is asking us to trust him like the disciples travelling to Emma us who appeared to have come to their end only for Jesus to appear to them.

Life only progresses when we embrace risk. Jesus said unless a grain of wheat falls and dies it remains alone but with the risk of dying it yields many. What is God asking you to release for increase.

Looking at Jesus hanging on the cross, He appeared more of a loser than a winner. God's way are never our ways and many are the times we win when all signs read we are losing. Trust God for the outcome even when you can't make sense of what He is doing

Life will always bring the Saturday in between Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. A Saturday of darkness, grief and despair when we must never doubt what God promised us. If we hold on, a Resurrection morning will come.

There are moments when friends will turn their backs on you. That is not necessarily to mean they are bad but quite often life corners many to make wrong choices. Jesus reassured his friends who had forsaken him!

Jesus washed the feet of all his disciples showing the power of servant leadership. He washed the feet of all even those who would betray or deny him. Who may God be asking you to wash feet today?
