God created us to exercise dominion which we lost with the fall. Jesus came to restore dominion to us through the law of love. Irrespective of our political pursuations, love should be supreme in our dealings with all either friends or foes.

What positions should believers take when it comes to politics? While God may not necessarily guide you on what candidate you should vote for, making sure that your choice is aligned to God's will rather than human propaganda is important. Our responsibility is to honour God and people that are created in his image and our underlying principle should be, "not my will but let your will be done".

God's will begins when we appreciate the neighborhood where He has stationed us. When we do not know what to do, the secret is to do the next available thing to do.

Many are the times when God opens doors in our neighbourhood. We are often tempted to think grass is greener on the other side forgetting that the good shepherd leads his sheep besides quite waters

Prayers should create a deep expectation within us that God will answer. As we trust God to open doors for us this year. Let's keep our expectations alive as we pray and keep checking.

God's visitation in our lives are many times indirect. He visited Abraham as a passer boy and even as He opens doors for us this year, it's largely going to be indirect

Many times God will ask us to do the ordinary possible so that He can do the extraordinary. The ordinary could be filling our jars with water, welcoming guests and following his prompts. That could be the simple act needed to open that door.

Humans are wired to expect God's signature in the great and magnificent things of life. We marvel at the effects of forces of nature such as earthquakes, tornadoes and fire. As Elijah learned, you may miss on God when you only expect him in the big things because many times He visits us in the small whispers that happen in our daily routines.

God will always honor an honest desire to meet with him in the paths of our lives. He honored Zacchaeus honest desire to see him and so will He honor ours

When God chooses to open doors in our lives, He may never take us away from our routines but rather changes our story and gives us a new song in the routines!
