God has promised to answer our prayers when we ask. However, He may not answer unprayed prayers. We should not hide under the guise that God knows what we need. Faith is taking the specific issues we are trusting God for to him. It is also important that we be specific on the items we are praying for as opposed to generalising. When we are specific, we are able to tell that God has done it

There are many reasons why God may not answer our prayers and one of them is failure to believe and have faith that He can do it. Whosoever goes to God must believe that He is and He rewards those that seek him. 

God burdens our hearts for prayer in different ways. It could be through the challenges that we are facing or the news that God allows us to be exposed to. Whatever burden that God gives us, we must take the same seriously. What prompts for prayer may God be giving you today?

God has commanded us to carry each other's burden and thereby fulfilling the law of Christ. God brings people our way and tasks us to pray for them. Some breakthroughs in our lives will only occur when we focus the lens of our prayers beyond us to include friends. 

While the world's formula advises us to crash our enemies and destroy them completely, the scriptures admonishes believers to love their enemies and pray for those who persecute them. God is an expert in using our enemies or turning their hearts around to become the stepping stones of our victory. 

God requires of us to pray for the prosperity of our country because if our nation prospers, we shall also prosper. No matter what is going on, do not get into the temptations of speaking anything negative or evil about your country
