A brand new survey from the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) is revealing video games are of significant support to U.S. veterans’ mental health and well-being. According to the study, 77% of veterans say they believe video games have a positive impact on their lives following military service. 86% say playing video games provides a healthy outlet for stress and anxiety and 81% reveal it has helped them cope through difficult times.
ESA President and CEO, Stanley Pierre-Louis, joins Ryan to discuss these benefits for veterans.
