In this episode I explore the life of a pioneer medical doctor, Simeon Starkweather French. His grandfather severed actively in the American Revolution, his father served in the War of 1812 as a medical doctor, and he served in the American Civil War. He played an active role in the medical profession, as well as education in Battle Creek, and served two terms as Mayor. His story is a fascinating history.
