Duluth, GA— 2-year-old Trinity Lyles was in the care of her mother’s boyfriend Malik Kennedy while she worked. When her mother returned from her shift, she discovered that her daughter was unresponsive, not breathing and she had been badly bruised. Malik claimed that he gave Trinity melatonin because the 2- year-old was “irritating him” while he played video games. 

Was the Melatonin the cause of death or something more sinister at play?
