Columbus, Ohio —On February 7, 2010, 18-year-old Ronnie Dowell was gunned down in his McCarley Drive apartment by a male suspect during a violent home invasion. Ronnie died three days later, and a suspect hasn't been brought to justice.
The miracle in this case, is that Ronnie was an organ donor, and although his life ended prematurely, Ronnie’s organs were preserved, and he saved two other lives.
Ronnie would be the 112th homicide of 2010. This case is six months shy of becoming 15 years cold. In today’s episode, I am joined by Ronnie’s mother Dee Luce, as she walks me through Ronnie’s life, his tragic murder and her quest for justice in her son’s unsolved cold case.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at
614-461-TIPS. All tips are anonymous.
