We retch for a while over plot revelations about a certain smoky guy and a certain spooky agent’s mom, cheer on a Father’s Day fight, get really mad that Scully didn’t even hug Mulder when he was in emotional distress, and Amanda reveals her definitely-real conspiracy theory of shapeshifting aliens. The truth is out there, about aliens but also that CSM’s real name is… Palm. Huh. Kind of a let-down, actually.
