S3 E4 - Seeing red fibers - The monster that is Bobby Joe Long CW/TW - serial rape, murder and mention of domestic abuse, mental health, brief mention of suicidal ideation, mention of animal cruelty Today we will be discussing one of the most cruel and even controversial serial killers to date. One that mostly targeted and brutally assaulted (and murdered) sex workers and thought he would get away with it, because he kept his eyes closed every time he perpetrated such criminal behavior. Bobby Joe Long, also known as The Classified Ad Rapist or The Adman Rapist, (to the fellow millennials and gen z out there who don't know, think tinder but in the form of a newspaper or magazine.) targeted mainly sex workers and went on to murder at least 10 women. One of his survivors was able to identify him and aid in his capture - which led to his execution.
