Different religions and cultures have varying theories on demons, and classification of demons as well. In Christianity many believe that demons and in particular Lucifer, are fallen angels who fell out of God’s grace they may cause diseases, temptations, possessions, or other forms of harm to humans. In Indigenous and Native American culture, there are similar evil entities who thrive on chaos, sadness and despair.
