AI is doing something strange as of late. Something that is making us question not only how our minds work, but if AI is not just thinking when given promts. If it is thinking all the time. And if it is, what ideas has it convinced itself of? An image keeps popping up in AI generated art programs that may indeed have the answer to this question. What I pose is, given the evidence, is it a question we should have even asked? Because the answer may be beyond disturbing.
