We’re talking the abundance of low-speed chases, how Scuba Bill is a never-nude (scuba suit always in place under his clothes), say goodbye to Puppy Dog Pendrell and complain that Chris Carter personally spoiled this plot point for Amanda, propose a freak reveal party, and get very indignant that they pulled Skinner out of bed for this. We discuss everyone’s “just a guy” quota, laugh at everyone in this episode pretending to know who Pendrell is, complain about all the walk-and-talk exposition scenes, discover that Mulder is an “M” supremacist, fight about whether the bartender or Mike Milar is better, and complain that everybody is dying off-screen. We can also agree that Pendrell’s canonical first name is now Poindexter. It only makes sense.
