Pop culture has long tapped into the unsettling power of children in horror from Haley Joel Osment whispering “I see dead people” in "The Sixth Sense" to Linda Blair screaming “Mother!” as Pazuzu takes control in "The Exorcist". There’s something uniquely terrifying about kids as a vehicle for the supernatural. Maybe it’s because children are the most innocent among us. They aren’t weighed down by social norms or skepticism; they live in a liminal space where fantasy and reality blur together.
