Well, fans don't have debate whether a win is good or bad for the Kings because the Kings get absolutely destroyed by the San Antonio Spurs at home.

The Kings got 2 very impressive back to back wins against the white hot Clippers and the Utah Jazz.

In the Tankathon finals on Tuesday, the Kings looked dead in the water against the Pacers. But then Devin Carter turned it on and brought the Kings and the G1C back to life with a scintillating comeback down 20 to win the game.

While Pro-Tankers will be upset the Kings lost ground in the Tankathon rankings, games like the ones against the Pacers are the blueprint for the type of games the Kings should play. Games where the young guys on the team spearhead the charge, and in this one it was Devin Carter and co.

On the 2nd night of a back to back with only 9 active players, the Kings put up a valiant effort against the surging Hornets but ultimately succumbed to the math problem. The Hornets simply traded the King's 2s for 3s on the other end and the Kings simply couldn't keep up.

It's been a tough season, Kings have lost a bunch and there's is little to look forward to for this season.

But recently Coach Doug Christie turned the corner and began to play the young guys on the team in a move to prioritize development of the youth on the team.

But not on this night, as he closed with a veteran heavy lineup with no minutes for Clifford, Raynaud, Devin and others.

The Kings simply got outplayed on 2 main fronts. They got destroyed on the boards by Phoenix who were simply bigger and played harder than the Kings on that end and ended with 18 offensive rebounds.

But it may not have been as big had they not gotten molly whopped from the 3 point line by 36 points.

These are issues the Kings will need to address going into this offseason if they have any hope of being competitive going forward.

The Kings lose their 3rd game to the Lakers this season, and it wasn't ever really close.

The Kings offense struggled to ever get a rhythm on offense, and on defense they got lit up from the 3 point line all night.

It's been a problem for a few years now and it's compounded when they can't hit their 3s on offense.

Kings now return home after this 5 game road trip to face the Suns Tuesday.

We'll take any win we can. That's the attitude of hosts Owen and Fong who have endured a miserable season of losing.

And while the Kings lost to the Rockets in demoralizing fashion, they did beat a depleted Mavericks team in an impressive manner on the 2nd night of a back to back.

While wins and losses really don't matter in the short term, the long term development of the team will likely benefit more from a win than they do a loss.
