Kings collapse against the Lakers in the 2nd half against the Lakers in the G1C as they were outscored 67-33 in the final 24 minutes of the game. The 1st 24 minutes of the game however were terrific for the Kings as they absolutely pounded the Lakers to 59-50 lead going into halftime, which is what makes this game all the more disappointing and frustrating if you're a Kings fan. The Kings travel to LA to face the Clippers tomorrow so hopefully they can bounce back from this deflating loss but if you've followed this team for long enough, it's not something you want to hold your breath for.

There are things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, things to be happy about, but the Kings ain't one of them as they get absolutely stomped by the Grizzlies in Memphis. The Grizz got off to an 11-0 start and never looked back. The King's defense was lackluster, and their offense was almost worse. The Kings continue to be an inconsistent team and there will likely be trades coming down the line. But for now, the Kings head back to Sac to face the Lakers on Tuesday, let's see if they can recapture some of that magic from Friday night.

Not 1, not 2 but 3 OVERTIMES was what it took to settle this game between the Kings and Lakers on Friday night. It was an ugly game to start, and things looked grim for the Kings when the Lakers went up by 13 early in the 4th. But the Kings showed grit, and fought their way back to force overtime, and then a 2nd overtime, before overcoming the Lakers in the 3rd overtime. 

This is a great win for the Kings against a western conference playoff team filled with talent, the question going forward will be can the Kings build on this momentum into Sunday against the Grizzlies? Or will they fall into their old ways against a Grizzlies that is going to be missing Ja Morant?

The Kings get a much needed win the night before Thanksgiving against the Trailblazers in the G1C. In a game where DeAaron Fox is ejected, the Kings get a huge boost from Damien Jones and of all people, Marvin Bagley. Jones and Bagley made huge plays down the stretch that ultimately let the Kings get separation while Davion, Tyrese, Buddy and the rest of the regular rotations did their thing. This game levitated the G1C crowd who have been starving for something to cheer and be thankful for and they send the fans home happy as they go into Thanksgiving.

The Alvin Gentry era is upon us! "Gone is the incompetency of Luke Walton" said the fans. "Luke Walton has no idea what he's doing and is holding the team back!"

And for 3 quarter, those Kings fans looked like they right, but then the 4th quarter came and the Kings fell into their usual bad habit and lose the game down the stretch against a depleted 76ers team that was without Embiid, Curry, Harris, Green and Simmons. The King's issues will not go away with just a coaching change, while it is only the 1st game of the Gentry era, this game gives a lot of credence to the idea that this roster is in need of a shakeup. 

What is clear however is that much more will need to be done to alleviate the Kings from their ills and for them to once again be a competitive team.

The Kings fall to both the Raptors and Jazz in a back to back at home games in the G1C. This was enough for Kings to pull the plug on Luke Walton and fire him. Alvin Gentry has been promoted to interim head coach and will try to get this King's team back on track. 

Was this the right decision? It's hard to make any case that Luke's run in Sacramento was successful, but Walton will be remembered for his last game where a young man proposed to his girlfriend and also being the first time in King's history a fan threw up all over the sidelines during the a game in the G1C. What a memory.

Kings lose an ugly one to the struggling Timberwolves in Minnesota. Most if not all the King's biggest issues were on full display, poor defensive communication, lack of ball movement, bad 4th quarter offense, etc. The Kings go an incredibly disappointing 1 of 4 on this road trip and now head back to the G1C for a tough 4 game homestand. Let's hope the Kings rediscover what got them some success earlier this season.

The Kings win! They break their 4 game losing streak by beating the Pistons in the Motor City. In what has been a chaotic day in King's Landing, a report from the Athletic comes out that Luke Walton is on the hot seat, and a trade idea to send Marvin to Detroit was floating around online, the Kings are able to quiet the noise with this much needed win.

The next stop will be at Minnesota, where the Kings will face a fellow team that is projected to be in the Play-In Tournament with them in the Timberwolves. This should prove to be a interesting match up as the core of Fox, Haliburton and Barnes goes up against the core of Russell, Towns and Edwards.

The Kings lose to the Thunder in OKC, which has set the fanbase ablaze. So much so, Owen had to redo the episode because he was so bewildered by the result that he wasn't able to collect his thoughts until a day later. While it's not the end of the world, the season is still young but if the Kings don't straighten themselves out and put an end to this 4 game losing streak, their hopes of a playoff berth will be further and further away from reach.
