The Kings actually found a way. It's quite impressive really, that they manage to blow a double digit with 3 minutes left in this game to lose to the Pistons on the home floor. Even worse, that wasn't the only double digit lead they blew in this game! This team is an absolute adventure and it doesn't look to be changing anytime soon if this group of players is going to remain on this roster. As it stands, this is a broken team and they very much have broken the hosts of this podcast with this wet crap of a game.

The Kings take on the Rockets twice in the G1C in the span of 3 days and split the series on their home floor. In these 2 games, the Kings look to have gotten some of their offensive identity back and sliced up the Rockets defense in both games. But they've also shown their primary warts that we've seen all season, the lack of boxing out, starting the games falling flat on their face and having to dig themselves out of a hole. Basically, these 2 games encapsulated the entire Kings experience this season. It just is who this team is, and will likely continue to be unless something drastic happens.

Kings get a win! It's felt like an eternity! And it's against the Lakers! For the first time this season, the Kings fans in the Golden 1 Center got one over on the Lakers fans in their home arena. The Kings rediscovered their offense and walloped the Lakers in the 3rd, very reminiscent of the beating the Lakers put on Kings 2 months ago in the same building, but this time with the roles reversed. 

Have the Kings rediscovered their mojo? Or is this going to be a small blip by season's end. Nevertheless, it's a much needed feel good moment for the Kings and their fans for this one night.

The Kings started this series of back to back games by falling flat on their face in Portland, against a team missing 4 of their starters and running on a skeleton crew of backups and 3rd stringers. It looked like the Kings had completely given up on the season and were just out there trying to get some cardio in.

However, on the 2nd night of the back to back, they showed up against a much more formidable Cavs team. They fought and didn't let the much bigger players on the Cavs punk them on their home floor which on one hand, is good to see the players show some pride and fight, but also begs the question, where the hell was this against the Blazers.

This team being so inconsistent is frustrating because you just never know which Kings team you're gonna get, and that's the life we chose as Kings fan. The Kings lose their 5th in a row and drop to 16-27 on the season.

The Kings went to Denver and took a pounding from the Nuggets and their MVP Nikola Jokic. The Kings just looked disconnected and out of sorts most of the game and the Nuggets just took care of business. The Kings have now lost 3 in a row and along with Kings fans look like they're waiting on the trade deadline for something to happen to shake things up for this team. 

In the return of the Raven's call segment, Host Owen talks about Demar DeRozan for MVP, and the possibility of trading for KPJ and Christian Wood from the Houston Rockets.

Kings lose in disappointing fashion to the Lakers and Hawks in this back to back stretch. Both games, the Kings came out flat in the first quarter and it basically lost them both games. If they had come out strong or just competent, they likely get into blowout territory early on and put the game away early. But alas, they make it hard on themselves for the sake of it and waste 2 brilliant games from De'Aaron Fox. The team and its fans are left to ponder what's next for the Kings, continue trudging through this season with this exact team, or will help come from the front office in the form of trades.

Sam Amick reports that the Kings are still interested in Ben Simmons and that Monte has the green light to make moves with no one off the table. And yes, that includes Fox and Haliburton. Will the Kings make a move, and when the dust settles, will this be a completely different team, or more of the same.

Kings start the New Year off right with a win against a depleted but still tough as nail Heat team. The Kings played a good enough overall game on both ends but it wouldn't have been possible without the explosion of Buddy Hield in the late 3rd and early 4th quarter and the late game heroics of De'Aaron Fox. Kings still have a lot work to do, but at least for now they start 2022 the right way.

The Kings end the year on a downer as they lose to the Mavericks on their home floor in demoralizing fashion. It's basically the same story, they missed shots and then allow the opposing team to get easy buckets on the other end, it's the absolute worst version of the Kings. What makes it more frustrating is that they played well to start the game and the 2nd half, so we got the complete Kings roller coaster experience. 

It's unclear why the Kings let this happen time and time again but what is clear that this team is mentally fragile and folds quite often when faced with adversity. Whether you want to blame it on coaching, the front office, the players, all roads lead to the same destination, this team needs change. And it needs to be the King's New Year's Resolution.

Kings get 2 UGLY wins against the Thunder and Mavs in back to back games. Against the Thunder, the Kings weathered a dreadful scoring drought in the 3rd quarter before turning up in the 4th to win going away. In the Mavs game, Kings went up 13 early in the 3rd quarter before squandering that lead with a series of elementary school turnovers to let the Mavericks right back into the game and needing Metu to save them at the buzzer. While these were 2 ugly wins, they are wins nonetheless for a Kings team in desperate need of them.

Now we wait to see if the Kings can build off this momentum and as they fight their way back into the play-in tournament.

Kings lose once again to the Memphis Grizzlies in the G1C for the 2nd time this season. It was unfortunately a similar showing that the Kings are well known for, be competitive for a half, and then completely fall apart in the 2nd. It's an all too familiar story for the Kings and one doesn't look to get any better any time soon.
