Sacrilegious Discourse - Bible Study for Atheists

Husband and Wife cover 2 Kings chapter 15: The Reign of Azariah / The Reign of Zachariah / The Reign of Shallum / The Reign of Menahem / The Reign of Pekahiah / The Reign of Pekah / The Reign of Jotham. Kings still be kingin' but one king got leprosy and another king only ruled for a month. King Pikachu does a thing. Judah rules and Israel drools.

Husband and Wife cover 2 Kings chapter 13: The Reign of Jehoahaz / The Reign of Jehoash of Israel / Elisha's Final Prophecy and Death. Every single name starts with a "J" and honestly we have no idea who did what in this chapter except that some rando is resurrected when his body accidentally touches Elisha's bones. Israel and Judah are at odds. Arrows fly. Pity the fool!

Husband and Wife cover 2 Kings chapter 11: Athaliah Usurps the Throne. Mama goes on a tear when her precious boy is killed, wiping out the entire royal family and taking over the throne. But oopsy she missed one, which wouldn't be a big deal cuz it's just a kid, but clearly nobody likes her cuz folks get real excited to push her out and crown boy-boy king. We also talk about Star Wars and Xena and parades cuz we're super random like that.

I'm (Husband) doing my best to fill in so that I can at least let everyone know what is going on and to let you know about our YouTube and TikTok pages where I'm putting out some specialized content from our podcast! I'm sharing it here with all of our listeners, but if you want to keep up with what we're doing, be sure to hop over to our YouTube page and subscribe as well as our TikTok channel and subscribe there as well!YouTube Link https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5rpfCzaWhEaP198xgY7CFwTikTok profile https://www.tiktok.com/@sacrilegiousdiscourse

Husband and Wife cover 2 Kings chapter 10: Jehu Destroys the House of Ahab / Jehu Wipes Out the Worship of Baal. It's hard to tell if this guy is actually doing God's work, or just getting down with mass murder. He seems to really enjoy killing large quantities of people. And God doesn't seem to mind all the blood on his hands, which is quite disconcerting.
