“We don’t have absolute choice to choose our situations, but we have been given the freedom to choose our experience.” –Sadhguru
Delivering a convocation address at a premier management institute, Sadhguru talks about the need of another kind of management, an 'Inner Management' through which one can become the master of his own destiny.
From ants and worms to software engineers and doctors, every creature on earth earns its living. Yet, Sadhguru laments, despite our vast intellect, humanity has invested all its consciousness into what could be just one small aspect of life. Rather than limiting our possibility, it is time we engineer ourselves towards realizing our full human potential.
The word yoga means literally means "union" or "to merge". More than a set of physical postures or exercises, Sadhguru defines yoga as a science to determine the nature of who you are and what you want to be.
Transition, Transformation, And Transcendence. The science of yoga provides the ultimate tool for enhancing human capabilities and functioning at the highest peak of body and mind. Subscribe to never miss an episode.
Breaking up is hard to do because it is both a mental and physical process, Sadhguru explains. Memories live within our bodies and mind. Therefore, pain will arise during a breakup because the body is physically trying to work out the memories and keep them at a distance.
“Were we really created by God?” a seeker asks Sadhguru. Our ideas of God sprung from a need to explain the creation, and vary from culture to culture, Sadhguru says. But if you are willing to explore and pay enough attention, then the universe can open its doors.
Sadhguru answers a question about the purpose of life and explains why having a "god-given" purpose will only restrict life.
Answering a question as to what is our purpose on this planet, Sadhguru explains that nothing in the Universe, from the planet to the stars to the solar system, has happened haphazardly. The fundamental nature of creation, which allows it to function perpetually, is the perfection of its geometry. He also speaks about evolution, both from the Darwinian standpoint, as well as evolution as it was propounded in ancient Indian systems.
